Or is it really a hack? If you are using Firefox , the recent album copy-protection feature by orkut is ‘hackable’ . Actually its not a hack at all. Its just simple as drag and drop. Just open the page with the desired photo to be ‘hacked’ or copied. Click the left mouse button on top of the image, hold it and drag the image to the address bar. Release the mouse and there it is! The direct address to the image location. Now you can right click and save the image or even directly link to the image from somewhere else. You can also drag and drop the image to a notepad or any image editor to save the direct address of the image.
Its not working in Internet Explorer as it doesnot allow you to drag and drop images.

PS: I have sent a report to Orkut. I think it will be resolved out in a few days by Orkut team. It will be as simple as as giving each image a hyperlink, say to the main album page or somethink like that . It will blocks the above trick and shows the hyperlink assigned to the image when dragged or dropped to addressbar or notepad.

Two more easy ways to hack:
Take a screen shot of the window, and crop the photo
save as the page, and take the photo from that

Screenshot wont work for non landscape mode pics.. As for viewing completely we have to scroll. Fullscreen is an option to a level.

Why Mspaint ?, Can easily copy the image by using the browser Maxthon or check the Ie Temp file folder.

orkut hacking is really possible, i found something really cool on orkut. one easy way: Take screen shot means press “prtsc sysrq” button on key board then open paint and paste it crop picture’s part that u want & save it as .jpg too easy na???
