If you are getting ” Explorer Failed to open .Normaliz.dll missing.Reinstalling the application will solve the error” message when logging on to your computer , you may have recently installed Internet explorer 7 beta / Final version and it fucked up your dlls. No problem. Fixing it is simple. Download the file below and extract normaliz.dll to windows/system32

Tip : To copy this file you need to browse through the drives. But with out an explorer it may sound hard. Not at all. Just open task manager by alt+ctrl+del and open “New task” . There you will get a browse window. Just browse through it. Dont forget to change “file types ” to “all ” from “programs” in that window. Else you will miss non-exe files.
I am getting this error but then unable to log in to the rest of my coputer. Tried it in safe mode and again the same. The normalize dll rro window comes up suggesting I may need to reinstall ie7 but then when you press ok, nothing. Pls Help!! Any suggestions?

Please tell me how can I browse on the new task window. When I type in that window, two fail messages popping up.
The first:
Explorer Failed to open .Normaliz.dll missing.Reinstalling the application will solve the error. (this is the usual message, it pops up two times/type. At first it pops up, when I typed the first character, and the second time, when I press enter)
The second:
The windows not found the file. Be sure that you typed its name correctly.

My windows was unstable after installing Internet Explorer Pro 7 and donot start. Giving the error bcmwltry.exe isn’t start due to Normaloiz.dll was not found.

i used a pendrive to copy it….
was soooo foolish to reinstall XP when i got the error previously!

Help I must be computer illiterate because when I open a new take I get a create new task box. Then I click browse. Then a Browse box opens up. Here is where I get stuck, in the browse box what am I putting down to Look in: and where am I typing Normaliz.zip?
I just saw this problem today for the first time. I inserted the window install disk ran setup. When it found the instatation of the first windows, I chose to repair. It kept all setting and files. Hope this helps
