Today , Tuseday 2nd september (Noon PST , that means around 12 Am Indian Time) , Google is launching their beta version of new Browser Google Chrome. It comes with some new thoughts. First of all , the announcement itself was some thing new in the form of a cartoon , which can be viewed here : Google Chrome Cartoon. As google says in , they have tried to keep the complexities to a minimum in Google Chrome ,

On the surface, we designed a browser window that is streamlined and simple. To most people, it isn’t the browser that matters. It’s only a tool to run the important stuff — the pages, sites and applications that make up the web. Like the classic Google homepage, Google Chrome is clean and fast. It gets out of your way and gets you where you want to go.

But its not that simple. Google has added some good functionality to the Chrome. Mainly the Tab styles and JVM. And each tabs are isolated which helps in avoiding the application crash even if a single tab crashes.

Some key feature of Google Chrome will be ,

  • Google Chrome is open source.
  • Google Chrome includes a Java Virtual Machine known as V8.
  • It uses revamped Tab styles, where address bar is below tabs.
