A fix for ” Installer User Interface Mode Not SupportedUnable to load and to prepare the installer in GUI mode. “ error which shows up on installing certain applications like Zend Studio.

Actually this error is due to a bug in the installer. It occurs only if your windows user name contains certain characters like ‘!’ or ‘*’ . A simple way is to create another user account with normal user id without any special characters and install from there. Or you can try renaming the existing user id with a normal name without special characters. If you are renaming the userid, it may requires a restart for the change to take place.
