Guys at Google are pretty good in fooling people all around the world with their April Fool Jokes. Here we are giving links to the April Fool Jokes from Google till 2008. Some of the recent pranks from google are reported to be working only on certain countries. So if we have missed anything (2008 list is not complete) help us to fill it up.
2000 : MentalPlex - This was the first April Fool Joke from Google ever. MentalPlex was created on 2000. Google claimed the ability to read your mind as you visualize the search results you want.Unlike regular search engines that require you to type a query to conduct a search, MentalPlex search anticipates your request by evaluating over 1.3 billion variables.
2001 : Swedish Chef - A Swedish Chef appeared in language preference. At the top, where it says “interface language”, an item “bork bork bork” appeared . Selecting it makes all the buttons and interface in Swedish Chef.
2002: Birdbrains - Google released the secret of the search! The PigeonRank™, a system for ranking web pages which uses , Pigeons!!
2003: – None
2004 : Googlunaplex : Google announced plans to open the Googlunaplex, a new research facility on the Moon.Whats next?
2005 : Google Gulp : Here comes a magical beverage that makes its imbibers more intelligent, and therefore better capable of properly using search results.Think fruity. Think refreshing.
2006 : Google Romance : According to google Dating is a search problem! Google Romance is a place where you can post all types of romantic information and, using our Soulmate Search™, get back search results that could, in theory, include the love of your life.
2007 : a) TiSP : Introduced Google TiSP (BETA), a FREE in-home wireless broadband service.Google TiSP (BETA) is a fully functional, end-to-end system that provides in-home wireless access by connecting your commode-based TiSP wireless router to one of thousands of TiSP Access Nodes via fiber-optic cable strung through your local municipal sewage lines.
b) Gmail Paper :Everyone loves Gmail. But not everyone loves email, or the digital era. What ever happened to stamps, filing cabinets, and the mailman? Google re-introduced the Paper Mail!!
c) Snake in Office : It was real! 
2008: It was grand this year! 16 Pranks were released in 2008. Some of them are,
Virgle , the new airline announced with Sir Richard Branson .”The Adventure of Many Lifetimes” was the caption. This was the press release :
“MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. and LONDON, England (April 1st, 2008) – Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) and Virgin Group today announced the launch of Virgle Inc., a jointly owned and operated venture dedicated to the establishment of a human settlement on Mars.”
Adsense for Conversations , which was a post on Adsense Blog, a new type of monetization solution that “puts the ‘context’ in contextual advertising”.
ManPower Search , A chinese page for searching human resources
Wake Up Kit, which was a new notification from google calender – the Wake up Alert!
Orkut was displayed as Yogurt in the site.
Youtube: RickRolled : Google-owned YouTube linked to a video of Rick Astley’s song Never Gonna Give You Up, causing all users of the website who clicked on featured videos to be Rickrolled. This was the first year YouTube participated in Google’s April Fool’s day tradition.
